CC Guarantee Details
All students are eligible for the Community College Guarantee (regardless of family income), which includes:
- Earning a skills certificate or degree tuition-free at your local community college!
- In-district tuition, contact hours, and mandatory fees are covered.
- Students receive a significant tuition discount if they attend an out-of-district community college.
- An additional $1,000 Michigan Achievement Bonus for Pell-eligible students to use toward additional college costs.
Eligibility Requirements
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Please note that the 2025-2026 FAFSA will be available starting December 1, 2024.
- Be a Michigan resident since July 1 of the previous year.
- Graduate from a Michigan High School (or GED program).
- Enroll full-time at a community college within 15 months of high school graduation.
This information session will provide further information regarding the CC Guarantee, answer questions, and help with the next steps.
